Lay sod IMMEDIATELY as it is perishable
Newly laid sod should be watered twice daily and deeply
for the first 2 weeks until rooting has established then
Reduce watering to 3 times per week.
Frequent light watering results in shallow roots.
YELLOWING is due to lack of watering.
Letting your grass get too tall will result in a less dense thatch.
Mowing too short will cause the grass to burn and increase weed infestation.
Mow when the sod has rooted and make sure your blades are sharp and set high.
Fertilizing every 4-6 weeks will ensure a healthy lawn and minimize the need for herbicides and pesticides.
Always choose a slow release fertilizer and follow the manufacturer's directions.
Be sure to water right after application so not to burn your lawn.
